How It All Started
From working in childcare for 15 years to now teaching fused glass art all thanks to a push from the little sister Hannah at Beau Nidol.
This all started with myself Becca wanting to have more time to be mum to Tyler and Ebony, my two children and dog Buddy, after loosing close family members it made me revaluate how short life can be and to make the most of it now. So the big leap to leave a profession I had been in for 15 years to do something that I had no idea about, was made in April 2022
After a year of working alongside Hannah and Julie (mum) at Beau Nidol and being trained up in the art of glass fusing, learning the skills to create stunning, colourful pieces, the decision was made for me to go off and open a workshop with the help from Julie and Hannah. This meant that Hannah could focus on what she loves best...being artistic and developing new designs and more complex commissions.
So this brings us to now. Teylu Glass a space to run a variety of workshops from age 5 and beginning of a new chapter.
What We Can Offer
See below to view the different workshops we can currently offer, this includes primary aged workshops, 12 plus workshops and also private parties such as hens, stags, team building, birthday parties. We are also able to do small school groups or clubs such as scouts, youth clubs etc but please email for information on these, thankyou.
None Cutting Workshops from 5 years plus
These workshops are great if you are a little unsure of what fused glass is all about. They are suitable from age five as some items are pre fused to reduce the risk of injury. They are also perfect if you suffer from strength issues in your hands and arms. On these workshops you can follow one of our designs or you can create your own. On these workshops there will be little to no cutting involved to reduce the risk of injury. You are abele to use a variety of different techniques to create your piece, including pre cut glass, beads, rods, decals, and crushed.
Let your imagination run free whilst trying something new.
12 years plus workshops
On these workshops you will be shown the different techniques involved with cutting glass and how to create a stunning individual fused glass pieces. These can be created from our templates (finished items can be seen in Beau Nidol), we also have a large gallery of photos that you can browse through in our sofa area whilst enjoying a cuppa. If you are artistic you can go all out and design your own piece which we can work with you to design a template suitable for glass fusing. We have a large variety of colours and glass materials you can use to create your personal glass art that you can show off in your house or gift to someone.

Private Parties
We are super excited to be able to offer group bookings, which are perfect for, team building, hen parties, stag dos and birthday parties with a difference. We can cater for 8 to 10 people at these events and to all needs. Attendees will have the chance to make their own fused glass piece to keep or if you wish you could make a large piece all together. We can provide party accessories if needed but this can be discussed once booked.
