How It All Started

After 15 years working in childcare, my journey has taken an exciting new direction—teaching fused glass art.

It all began when I, Becca, wanted to create a better balance between my work and my family life with my two children, Tyler and Ebony, and our dog Buddy. Losing close family members reminded me how precious life is and inspired me to make a change. So, after many years in a career I knew well, I took the leap into something completely different.

In April 2022, I joined my mum and sister at Beau Nidol. Over the next year, I trained alongside them, learning the beautiful craft of glass fusing and developing the skills to create colourful, unique pieces. As my passion grew, we decided it was time for me to open my own workshop—one that would offer inclusive, welcoming classes for everyone. This also allowed Hannah to focus on smaller workshops, explore new designs, and take on more complex commissions.

And so, Teylu Glass was born—a friendly, creative workshop space where I run classes for anyone aged 5 and up, with room for groups of up to 11 people. Whether you’re trying something new, celebrating a special occasion, or simply looking for a relaxing creative escape, Teylu Glass is a place where everyone is welcome.

Workshops

At Teylu Glass, we offer a range of creative fused-glass workshops suitable for all ages and abilities. Whether you’re looking for a quick creative session, a more in-depth experience, or a unique group activity, there’s something for everyone.

We run:

1-hour workshops (age 5+)

2-hour workshops (age 12+)

Private group bookings including hen parties, stag parties, birthdays, team-building and more.

School groups and clubs such as Scouts or youth groups - please email for details.

Mobile workshops suitable for Care homes, holiday parks, larger groups - please email for details.

None Cutting Workshops Over 5 years (including adults) 1 hour

Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about fused glass, these workshops are safe, fun, and relaxing. Some elements are pre-fused to make the activity suitable for young children and those who may have reduced hand strength.

There is no glass cutting involved.

You can follow one of our ready-made designs, or create your own unique piece using a variety of materials, including:

Pre-cut glass

Glass beads

Rods and stringers

Decals

Crushed glass (frit)

Over 12s Cutting workshop 2 hours

These workshops offer a more in-depth fused-glass experience. You’ll learn how to safely cut glass and use different techniques to design and create your own stunning piece.

Browse our extensive photo gallery in the sofa area while enjoying a cuppa.

Bring your own design — we’ll help you adapt it into a template suitable for glass fusing.

With a wide variety of colours, textures, and materials available, you’ll create a personal piece of glass art to display proudly at home or gift to someone special.
